This exquisite Self-Portrait's dress looks like two separate pieces styled together – the jacket is made from sequined bouclé, while the pleated skirt is cut from lightweight chiffon. It's belted at the waist and is embellished with crystal flower buttons along the front. Designed to be fitted at the bust and waist, loose at the hip. Mid-weight, non-stretchy fabric. Sky-blue sequined bouclé and chiffon. Snap fastenings and concealed hook and zip fastening at front.
Self-Portrait's decidedly feminine looks are executed with a devilish wink—lace dresses lose the romance and get tough; sheer panels and overlays make you look twice. The London-based clothing brand was launched in 2013 by Central Saint Martins alumnus Han Chong. The Malaysian native desired to create a contemporary line of cocktail dresses, jackets, and separates worthy of the red carpet. We think he nailed it, and so do his many celeb fans.
